Van Cliburn Piano Competition 2025 Winners Announced Worldwide

The Seventeenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition concluded with great fanfare at the Van Cliburn Concert Hall and Bass Performance Hall, where the winners were revealed after two and a half weeks of remarkable performances. The event, held from May 21 to June 7, 2025, captivated a global audience of over 20 million viewers across 145 countries.

The Pianist

The prestigious Gold Medal was awarded to Aristo Sham, a talented pianist from Hong Kong, China, aged 29. Along with the gold medal, Aristo also received a substantial cash prize of $100,000, the Van Cliburn Winner’s Cup, and a range of career-enhancing opportunities, including concert tours and a live album produced by Platoon Records.
